The children's area in the library has become a very busy place in the years since it was remodeled. The murals and puppet stage are always very popular with the kids and the kid-friendly shelves make it very easy for smaller kids to browse through our vast selection of books.
Our books include many of the popular series such as Arthur and The Berenstain Bears and authors like Tomie De Paola and Eric Carle. We also have non-fiction books for our younger audience and books on tape.
For the holidays, we have a whole section just for those books. The children's area also boasts of three computers for the kids with a variety of educational games. For parents there is also a computer with Internet access so that mom or dad can browse the Internet while keeping an eye on the kids.
The children's videos and junior fiction books are located in the children's area as well. So come grab a chair and let your imagination take you away!
